About

Quality, Clarity, Integrity

Dr. Natalia Lugina Mauranne is a licensed clinical psychologist with specialized training in clinical psychology, neuropsychology, integrative mental health, and optimal brain functioning. She offers diagnostic and brain health consultations, medical and educational neuropsychological evaluations, and psychotherapy for patients residing in Northern Virginia and surrounding area. Dr. Lugina approaches her clinical work from an integrative, “holistic,” brain-mind-body perspective, exploring how emotional, physical, and cognitive health are interconnected, influencing one another in a complex way. She views mental and cognitive problems as brain health issues or imbalances, which helps eliminate stigma and provides hope for symptom improvement through scientifically based, brain health promoting strategies, including evidence-based psychological interventions. Dr. Lugina is very passionate about her work, going above and beyond in her mission to serve her patients and their loved ones. She strives to find the answers to her patients’ questions and facilitate the processes of transformation and personal growth. Dr. Lugina is a member of several professional organizations, including American Psychological Association, National Academy of Neuropsychology, American Board of Pediatric Neuropsychology, American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology (Non-Certified Affiliate), International Neuropsychological Society, Integrative Medicine for Mental Health, and National Institute for the Clinical Application of Behavioral Medicine. She attends clinical and scientific conferences to remain current with the cutting-edge scientific and clinical information. During her formal graduate training, Dr. Lugina had an opportunity to work across clinical settings. She completed her predoctoral internship with the focus in neuropsychology at the APA-accredited training program. Upon graduation with honors, she obtained additional postdoctoral training in clinical neuropsychology, neurorehabilitation, and forensic neuropsychology. Before opening her private practice, Dr. Lugina served as a Director of Neuropsychology Department at Loudoun Psychological Services.
